Behind the scene with Mariko
After my session with Maï, I returned accessories to Atelier Marica and talked with Mariko, the owner. She lend accessories sometimes but never modeled. One thing leading to another, we conclude to make a session together where she would in front of my camera.
Chie a professional make up artist joined us and we went to Arashiyama in Kyoto area. It was darker than I expected (Night falls much sooner in Japan than in France) so I only shot with strobe in close portraits.
