Looking beyond the physical appearance: The nude male

 

I built this series by irritation of various remarks about my possible relations with my models. People always think they are extroverts and see them as easy. What impressed me the most during my first nude for the Violence project, was precisely that between two takes, she hid obviousy as uncomfortable as I could possibly be.

 

Some of these people then expressed their discomfort to me just imagining me taking this nude male me being a man. I was very pleased to have found an answer creating disturbed feelings equivalent to those they created within myself with their remarks.

モデルとのふさわしい関係について様々な意見による刺激でこのシリーズは発足しました。人はいつも社交的で優しくするよう接していると思っています。暴力をテーマにしたこの企画で、最初のヌード写真を撮る間最も私を印象付けたことは、まさにその二つで、彼女は私が不満を感じるであろうことを明らかに包み隠しました。

このうちの何枚かは男であるこの裸体の男性を撮るのに、ちょうどそのとき私が想像した彼らの苦痛からくる不快感を表現しました。

私は彼らの意見と共に自分自身の中で想像した、その不安な感情の同等な答えが見つかってとても嬉しかったです。
