Look at me

 

This series is the result of a happy coincidence (or unfortunate depending on your optimistic or pessimistic tendencies) where I had left the exposure longer than necessary, I instantly fell in love with the resulting effect.

 

I like to think I'm showing you here the essence of the person beyond their simple body. A simple instruction for the model: move from one chosen state to another, the only limit was to stay in the frame. This series served to build their confidence before attacking other photos of various projects.

このシリーズは幸福と共存すること(または楽天主義や悲観的な傾向次第では不幸)の結果です。私は必要以上に長く光を放ち、すぐにその結果生じた写真の印象のとりこになりました。

​私は、下の写真のように一つの個体という枠を超えた人間の本質を示し、考えるのが好きです。モデルに対する単純な指示はこうです。「選ばれたある状態から別の状態へシフトし、唯一制限されることはフレームの中に留まること。」このシリーズは様々なプロジェクトの別の写真に取り掛かる前段階として、モデルたちとの信頼を築き上げるのに役立ちました。
